The authentic classic Dutch bikes
When postal manager, Willem Kölling, decided to go into the bicycle trade in 1892 everyone thought he was crazy. However, he was one of the very first to see the possibilities of this new mode of transport.
Fast forward 120 years and Gazelle still makes the same Classic bikes that made cycling in Holland famous. The beautiful steel framed 'Toer Populair' and ‘Classic’ models take you back to an era that was slower in pace and style was the norm. The upright nature of these bikes suits the more casual, relaxed rider who wants to travel in style. For hillier cities, Gazelle has developed the Toer Populair 8-Speed to tackle those steeper climbs. The Classic 3-Speed has all the class Gazelle is famous and is suited to flatter terrain.
Choose your Gazelle wisely
For longer, hilly, daily commutes the Modern City and Electric Bikes are easier to handle but for flatter terrain like Melbourne and Adelaide, you won’t find better quality and beautiful bikes than in the 'Gazelle Classic' models below.
